Book Review: Lights (Sheets #3)

Author: Brenna Thummler
Title: Lights (Sheets #3)
Genre: YA Paranormal Graphic Novel
Number of Pages: 363

Plot Summary: In the final installment of the Sheets series, we finally get the backstory of our favorite ghost boy, Wendall. We discover more about his family life and how he passed away. While Marjorie and Eliza try to figure out his past, they struggle with their friendship and with possibly adding more girls to the friend group. Marjorie also continues her grief journey (her mom passed not long before the first book begins). The ending is bittersweet, but Thummler wraps up the series nicely.

My Verdict: I read this in one sitting but it kind of took me a bit to get going in the first half. If you've read the other two books and are invested in Marjorie and Wendall's story, this is definitely worth the read. This book focuses primarily on Wendall. All while Marjorie and Eliza investigate Wendall's death, they deal with rocky friendship issues. Marjorie also makes up with Sid and Sasha but is leery about hanging out with them because they made fun of Eliza in the previous book. Thummler wraps up the series well and I'd suggest only if you've read the first two books.
